We are Bucketfillers
We read “Have you Filled a
Bucket Today”.
It is a very special book that describes how we all
have
An invisible bucket we carry around.
When we are feeling good about ourselves, our bucket
if filled.
But when we are feeling down, our bucket is empty.
You can fill others buckets by doing kind things such
as a
smile, compliment, hug and many more.
This will also fill our bucket and leave us feeling good.
Today, we wanted to make sure everyone’s bucket was
full!
We started our day talking about the ripple effect and
how someone fills your bucket, you will often go on to fill someone else’s
bucket.
Ms. McCullough complimented 2 students and those
students gave compliments or did something kind for someone else and passed on
the hearts.
And so on until everyone had gotten a compliment and
given one.
To describe how students were feeling after this, they
used words such as
amazing, kind, caring, happy, peaceful.
In the afternoon, we again received more compliments
from the class.
I hope everyone
is coming into the weekend feeling happy and ready to be Bucketfillers at home
too!
